‘A Garden’ was collected and assembled by Julian Grefe over the course of the last several years… field recordings from train journeys across India, mountain towns in Tibet, the shores of the Salton Sea, rides on the Philadelphia el, the early morning streets of Berlin, sessions at Strangewool Labs in Philly and lastly a couple sessions at the RAIR demo in Northeast Philadelphia where Julian, Justin Geller and Billy Dufala played trash containers, backhoes, bulldozers, old refrigerators and compactors. Those results were manipulated and assembled in post in his studio in 2018 and 2019 .

Julian Grefe (b 1973) lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
